Karen Hudes Whistleblower on the Chris Pante Show https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=eyjOq4hA62E&feature=youtu.be&a J. Philip Jimenez Money is backed by law, not gold. Treasury dollars is a great idea. But please don't push gold. The damage that gold mining does to the environment is not worth what is ultimately a metaphysical preference. The metallist idea has created more destruction and chaos than socalled fiat currency. A currency is backed by the health and vitality of the social contract. A "note" is a kind of admission ticket to participate in a cooperative system involving the exchange 1 of value. It doesn't need to be backed by gold any more than a theatre ticket needs to backed by gold. Currency that is "just paper" exists only in a context of total lawlessness. In such a case, gold provides negligible security and cannot, in itself, restore the rule the law. Karen Hudes You do not seem to understand that gold has been a store of value through millennia, and that there are already 1,710,000 MT of gold at our disposal. Besides which, we are not "backing" the money, we are minting the money, and pressing the gold thin and enclosing it in plastic so that it handles just like the bills we are used to. http://www.peakprosperity.com/podcast/84359/new-wayhold-gold And if any country wants to use a different commodity than gold, that is just fine too. J. Philip Jimenez I am torn because I am aware that you are bravely embarked on a truly humanitarian mission and yet I am also aware that gold mania (the perception that gold holds value) has been catastrophic to indigenous societies, from the civilizations in the Americas to smaller tribes up to the present. I live in Mongolia where the perception that gold is money causes the most egregious and destructive mining practices. Elicit, highly polluting. This is true for poor individual miners (who seek absolution from lamas for their environmental sins) and for large mining operations who care nothing for law or life. The Canadians are the worst. Perhaps if you succeed, you will find ways to stop this manic destruction. Children are born with birth defects, rivers are destroyed, etc.. Please will you raise awareness of these issues? There is also the very real distinction between a commodity and a currency. Perhaps if gold is accepted as a currency, people will work to enforce best mining practices because the gold will reflect political will and so will acquire a sacredness, like a national flag. I understand that there is already much gold available. Keep up the good work. Blessings. Karen Hudes WHY ARE YOU NATTERING ON IN THE FIRST FIVE SENTENCES? gold in the Global Debt Facility IS ALREADY MINED. J. Philip Jimenez I AM AWARE THAT THE GOLD IS ALREADY MINED. HOWEVER, YOUR PROJECT, UNLESS MATCHED BY AN AGGRESSIVE ENVIRONMENTAL CAMPAIGN, WILL LIKELY RESULT IN THE ESCALATION OF FUTURE GOLDMINING AS IT REINFORCES THE NOTION THAT GOLD IS WEALTH. Karen Hudes You have called this "my project". Please be aware that I am simply following the decisions of all the nations on earth, acting through the Board of Governors of the World Bank and IMF. There is going to be a peaceful transition so that there is no more "democratic deficit" and the Ministers of Finance are going to be accountable. Each nation is going to be responsible for its own peoples and its own laws. The most important currencies are going to be the local currencies. Many, many things are going to have to be decided, and we are going to have to work together without being manipulated from above, as we have been through the ages. How to accomplish this? It will not be easy, I will do what I can to strengthen whistleblower protections. 2 J. Philip Jimenez I hope you will find time to come to Mongolia. You will feel safe here. People here could use your expertise. The country is being looted by "foreign investors" but there is a new regional spirit of hope. BRICS development and Chinese development banks will eclipse IMF and WB soon. But in the meantime, corruption and poverty are really tough. We are holding a conference in June on traditional Mongolian cultural values and development. Consider yourself invited. --------- Forwarded message ---------From: Santos Date: Fri, Feb 13, 2015 at 2:46 AM Subject: Re: response To Karen. Please respond. She makes reference to a study of global corporate control which appears in PLoS One in 2011. 147 of the 43,000 multinational corporations control 40 percent of the net worth of companies in world trade and 60 percent of their annual earnings. This is reported by three mathematicians at the Swiss Federal Institute of Technology. http://www.plosone.org/article/info%3Adoi/10.1371/journal.pone.0025995 ... Karen Hudes WORLD BANK Insider reveals who`s behind the throne The degree of control of the mainstream press in suppressing stories of this magnitude certainly supports the PLoS One paper in its conclusion that they constitute a single conglomerate by interlocking boards of directors. She is on Facebook and at KAHudes.net as well as on Google news and in many YouTube videos. This is likely to be a crazy year which could bring the world economy out of the bankster caused long term depression or could fail and make things much worse.
