CMAS Colorado Measures of Academic Success SAL Support Guides: Resume a Test English Language Arts and Math (PARCC) ---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------- Resume a Test in PearsonAccessNext Important Information/Overview of guide You will resume a test when a student exits a test (either intentionally or unintentionally), before finishing the test an you want the student to continue the same test. Only students in theActiv or Exited status can be resumed. To begin a new unit, all students should be in the Exited status. If a student is still in theActiv status, they must first be exited properly before being resumed. Note: Please refer to the PearsonAccessNext User Guide for more informatio. If you resume a student and they are taken back to a unit that they have already completed, they did not exit the test properly. They will need to follow the exit instructionsexactly to submit answers for that unit before they can continue on to the next unit. Log into PearsonAccessNext https://co.pearsonaccessnext.co OR PearsonAccessNext Training site (for Infrastructure Trial) https://trng.pearsonaccessnext.co 2. Under Testin, select Sessions. 4. Type in the name of the session you want to find under Find Sessions, then click Search. Or, to view all sessions, use the Search dropdown arrow and check the box to Show all results. 5. Check the box next to the name of the session. 6. Click Go to Students in Sessions. Check the box next to the student name(s) you want to resume. Note: Only students in Activ or Exited status can be resumed. 9. Under Select Tasks, check the box next to Resume Student Tests. Click Start. 10. Check the box next to the student(s) name. Click Resume. 11. To return to the session homepage, click Exit Tasks. 12. Confirm that the Student Test Status has changed to Resumed. From the session dashboard, use the student test status dropdown to resume a student. Choose Resume Upload if the student was unintentionally exited due to a technology interruption and is logged back in on the same device. Choose Resume if the student is in the exited status or if they were unintentionally exited due to a technology interruption and is logged back in on a different device. Note: Only students in Activ or Exited status can be resumed. The Resumed and Resumed Upload status can be changed between the two.
