VACANCY Security Investigator (2x) Location: Husab Mine, Swakopmund Reports to the Security Manager MAIN PURPOSE OF JOB: To maintain an investigation and intelligence function within the security portfolio through the investigation of internal breaches of serious misconduct and other disciplinary offences as may be required by management and to present evidence obtained. Key Performance Areas: Adhere and support all laid down SHERQ related standards, practices, policies, procedures, rules and regulations Take statements of the complainant and all witnesses Analyze facts to establish applicable crime/offences Handle and control all exhibits that were confiscated for efficient presentations Prepare a photo plan of incidents where applicable Maintain an archive and appropriate document controls for all evidence Maintain an intelligence information system according to laid down standards Develop a culture of performance and of continuous improvement Effectively interact with various stakeholder and clients during investigations and in general Support and create effective and sound working relationships with co-workers / team members to resolve problems Requirements and experience: Grade 12 Police experience Clear Police Code of Conduct Certificate (relevant within last 6 months) Valid Code 08 driver’s license Experience in the installation of remote surveillance equipment Minimum 4 years’ experience in criminal investigations Experience in corporate investigation in a mining environment will be an advantage Through its commitment to its people, the company offers a competitive remuneration package and the opportunity to work alongside some of the most experienced and dedicated people in the industry.
