The sale is subject to various restrictive conditions. The closed bid will be conducted according to the Cost Limited Average Price procedure (CLAP). According to this procedure, erven are not allocated to the highest bidders, but to the bidders closest to the average price of the valid bids received (bids between the upset price and the limited permissible mark-up). Erven will be allocated on the basis of one erf per person or entity. The Council for the Municipality of Swakopmund is not obliged to accept any bid received and reserves the right to withdraw all or any of the erven from the bid process. Registration All persons interested in participating in the closed bid are required to register as from Monday, 27 October 2014 until Monday, 19 January 2015 from 14:00 until 16:00, daily. No late registrations will be considered. A refundable registration fee of N$ 2 500.00 must be paid per prospective bidder.
