* THE CALL TO WORSHIP………………………………..………..…………………………………………………………
Leader:
Come. Let us worship God. Come. Let us worship the One who calls us by name. Come. Let us
worship the God who is omnipresent, omniscient, and omnipotent. Come. Let us worship God in
spirit and in truth.
We come worshiping the God who orders our steps, the God who will guide our feet, the God who directs
mission in our hearts, the God who is pleased when we commit our lives to Him.
We come with the true commitment to seek God first, knowing that it is absolutely impossible to live
a full Christian life and effectively accomplish the work of mission without having a complete
commitment to following God.

Therefore, we come in true solidarity declaring that we are called to strengthen our faith and sent to
continue the ministry of Jesus Christ by service and witness in the world. Let the people of God say,
“Hallelujah!”

THE HYMN OF PRAISE………………………………………..……….BRO. CAMRON EPPES/ SIS. CLARISSA CARMICHAEL
AMEC HYMN #60 — WE’LL PRAISE THE LORD
1. We'll praise the Lord for He is great, And in His presence angels wait; All heaven is swelling with His
praise, Shall we not, too, our anthems raise?
REFRAIN: Oh, we will praise Him, Oh, we will praise Him, Oh, we will praise His holy name. Oh, we will praise
Him, Oh, we will praise Him, Oh, we will praise His holy name.
2. We'll praise the Lord for He is wise; His wisdom shines through all the skies; The earth He measures with a
span, And crowns us with His image, man.
REFRAIN
3. O praise Him for His name is love, And from His glorious throne above; He bends to welcome our weak
praise, Shall we not, then our anthems raise?

Loren Michelle Johnson, was born to Rev. Ferrun and Lorilei Johnson in December 1993.
She is the oldest of 3 girls. Ever since she was young, her family knew that she had a love for
school, her community, and leadership. Loren has been a part of numerous extra-curricular
clubs from elementary school through college including National Honor Society, Student
Government Association, and currently Kappa Delta Pi Honor Society of Education. She is
currently a senior at Georgia State University. She will be graduating in May with her
Bachelor’s of Science in Middle Level Education with concentrations in Mathematics and
Reading. Her goals for post graduation are to teach middle school math and within a few years
move up north to pursue her Master’s degree. Besides her education, her life revolves around
the hard work she does within the church. She has been active with the Young People’s
Division of the AME Church since she was young. From singing and playing in her church choir
to being the President of the Atlanta North Georgia Conference to being a current candidate
to become the next Connectional YPD 1st Vice President, Loren has truly grown to become the God-fearing woman that she is
today. She credits the YPD as well as her mentors and parents with preparing her to face the challenges of this world. Without a doubt, Loren is still growing strong. She looks to God for guidance in times of trouble. One verse that she lives by is 2
Timothy 1:7 “For God did not give us the spirit of fear, but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.”
