About the presenter: Robert Neidigh is an Assistant Professor in the Supply Chain Management
Department at Shippensburg University. He has a Bachelor’s Degree in Information Management &
Analysis from Shippensburg University, a Master’s Degree in Manufacturing Management from the
Pennsylvania State University, and a PhD in Supply Chain Management from the Pennsylvania State
University. He is a lifelong resident of Blain, PA in western Perry County, is an avid sportsman whose
true passion is baseball, and is married with four children.
Robert worked in production for over fifteen years with ten years as a production supervisor. His thesis
research solved a lot-sizing scheduling problem encountered in his production experience. He is
passionate about manufacturing and continues to perform research in production scheduling. Robert
has conducted professional training in Lean Six Sigma, inventory control, forecasting, and root cause
analysis. He has taught courses in business statistics, operations management, warehousing,
transportation, decision-making, and quality.
