Train Dispatcher
The Train Dispatcher supervises train movements and any employees connected with that movement
and are responsible for safely and efficiently conducting transportation on the company’s rail system
ensuring the safety of passengers, employees and the general public at efficient cost to the company in
all weather conditions. The Train Dispatcher must be able to work safely with little or no direct supervision and plan and direct others to ensure safe and efficient train operations. The Dispatcher may also be
required to work as work as brakeman, diesel fireman, or other positions based on individual qualifications and staffing requirements. The successful candidate must be able to maintain flexibility in carrying
out daily job duties and organize and prioritize tasks. Candidates must have a valid/clear Arizona Driver’s
License and comply with Xanterra/GCR Vehicle policy, and must be able to successfully complete GCOR
and Air Brake & Train Handling Class and annual refresher classes.
Assistant Trainmaster
The Assistant Trainmaster is responsible for supervising train and yard crews, dispatchers, and others as
required. This position is also responsible for the administration of railroad rules classes, creation and
editing of railroad operating documents and FRA reports, and any other duties as required. Must be
comfortable in a supervisory role, with attention to detail and thorough knowledge of railroad operating
rules obtained through 3-5 years of previous railroad experience is required. Must be available to work
nights, weekends, holidays, and extra shifts as required, and be willing to work on a rotating on call
schedule. Candidates must have a valid/clear Arizona Driver’s License and comply with Xanterra/GCR
Vehicle policy.
Housekeeping Inspector
The Grand Canyon Railway Hotel Inspectors inspect assigned rooms and or hotel areas for proper cleanliness and professionally direct housekeepers or public area attendants as to what items need attention,
ensuring adherence to Company standards and quality guest service. The successful candidate must
have professional telephone etiquette, and be able to communicating effectively during Lost and Found
phone conversations, and/or guest conversations. The candidate Must be able to work days, weekends,

well in a team environment, and excellent communication and organizational skills.
Individual must have excellent computer skills and prior accounts payable experience.
Behavioral Health Workers: Under professional supervision, accepts life skills educational assignments, participates in client staffings, develops and implements living
skills training assignments according to frequency and intensity determined on the
current treatment plan, coordinates these assignments with case management activities, maintains client progress notes for interventions assigned to them, and performs
other duties as assigned. Minimum req’d: High School degree/GED and 6 weeks behavioral health work experience.
