Concert: Please join us Palm Sunday afternoon at 4:00 PM for a concert presentation of “Testimony of Life.” Inspired by the celebrated lessons and carols service associated with Christmas, “Testimony of Life” is a musical presentation celebrating the life of Christ with an emphasis on His ministry, death and resurrection. This concert is a collaboration of choir members of Immaculate Conception and St. Mary’s, Sandusky and is presented with a professional orchestra. Good Friday Collection: On Good Friday, our parish will take up the annual Good Friday Collection for the Holy Land. Your financial contributions help to support the struggling Christian community and to protect Christianity’s holiest places. If you wish, send your donation in an envelope marked Holy Land Collection and put it in the collection any time during Holy Week. K of C Lenten Fish Fry: The Bellevue Knights of Columbus will host their last Lenten perch, shrimp and chicken tender dinner this Friday, April 3rd. Prayer Partners for 8th grade Confirmation Candidates: Thank you so much for choosing to pray throughout the year for this year’s candidates. They have been busy preparing for their special day and are eager to stand before the Bishop and confirm their faith. A special retreat is being planned on April 19th. We ask that you send a letter no later than APRIL 14th to the Church office. The letters will be presented to each candidate during the retreat. They will have time to read these privately. In your letter please let them know who you are, why your Catholic faith is important, words of advice, testimonials, and anything else you feel called to write. Please pray for them and for all our departed loved ones. MESSAGE FROM FATHER JONATHAN Dear Parishioners, Congratulations to Deacon Austin Ammanniti who was ordained this weekend. He is with us for the Sunday Masses. Please plan on coming to as many of our Holy Week Services that you can. The Chrism Mass at the cathedral is Tuesday morning; we will have a communion service here at the time of the regular morning Mass. Mass on Wednesday morning will be followed by confessions for those who would still like to celebrate this sacrament before Easter. Mass of the Lord’s Supper is the only Mass permitted on Maundy Thursday. That will be at 7:00 p.m. I will lead stations of the cross on Good Friday at noon. The Liturgy of the Lord’s Passion with veneration of the cross and Holy Communion is at 1:00 p.m. The Easter Vigil Mass with reception into the Church for our RCIA candidates is at 8:00 p.m. This is the only Mass permitted on Saturday, and there will not be confessions. Easter Masses are at 8:00 a.m. and 10:30 a.m. Father Jonathan March Raffle Winner: The $500 winner for the March drawing is Linda Wooten. She was also the ticket seller. There are still plenty of tickets left to purchase. There are now nine chances to win $500. Tickets are $45.00 and can be purchased in the parish office after Masses and during the week. The next drawing will be April 28th. Immaculate Conception School Spring Fling Reverse Raffle: The 22nd annual ICS Reverse Raffle will be held this year on April 18th. Doors will open at 5:30pm, dinner served from 6 to 7pm, main raffle beginning at 7:15pm. Reverse Raffle tickets, 50 inch TV raffle tickets, Catawba Island Club golf package tickets and Amish quilt tickets are available in the school and parish offices during the week. Easter Egg Hunt: The Bellevue Knights of Columbus will host its annual Easter Egg Hunt for children up to age 10 on Saturday, April 4th at 2pm at the K of C Hall on Monroe Street.
