The news sheet is for you to retain and use for reference and prayer Today’s services 8.00am Holy Communion (Canon Grant/Geoff Huskisson) 9.15am Sung Eucharist (Canon Grant/Geoff Huskisson) Readings: RCL: Year B: Page: 491 Setting: Rutter Introit: 81 HYMNS ANCIENT & MODERN Collect: Almighty Father, who in your great mercy gladdened the disciples with the sight of the risen Lord: give us such knowledge of his presence with us, that we may be strengthened and sustained by his risen life and serve you continually in righteousness and truth; through Jesus Christ your son our Lord, who is alive and reigns with you, in the unity of the Holy Spirit, one God, now and for ever. Amen. 1st Reading: Acts 3: 12-19 Psalm: 4 Hear me when I call O God of my righteousness: thou hast set me at liberty when I was in trouble, have mercy upon me and hearken unto my prayer. O ye sons of men, how long will ye blaspheme mine honour: and have such pleasure in vanity and seek after leasing? Know this also, that the Lord hath chosen to himself the man that is godly: when I call upon the Lord he will hear me. Stand in awe and sin not: commune with your own heart, and in your chamber and be still. Offer the sacrifice of righteousness: and put your trust in the Lord. There be many that say: Who will shew us any good? Lord lift thou up: the light of thy countenance upon us. Thou hast put gladness in my heart: since the time that their corn and wine and oil increased. I will lay me down in peace and take my rest: for it is thou Lord only that makest me dwell in safety. 2nd Reading: Gradual Hymn: Gospel: Preacher: Intercessions: Offertory Hymn: 1 John 3: 1-7 85 Luke 24: 36b-48 Geoff Huskisson Christine Stopford 82 During this time please observe a period of quiet reflection, as we receive Communion Anthem: Lead me Lord - Wesley Communion Hymn: 421 Post Communion: 73 …………………………………………………………….. 11.15am All Age Communion (Fr.
