WORKPLACE BULLYING A new and distinctive approach to learning - using plays and workshops in combination - to explore Workplace Bullying and the recent changes to the Fair Work Act. By using theatre and drama to engage audiences - we offer participants the opportunity to watch the anatomy of a bullying relationship unfold over a series of scenes. MUCH ADO ABOUT HECTOR A PLAY ABOUT WORKPLACE BULLYING The Play comprises 14 Acts - each designed to highlight different aspects of a bullying relationship. Often what one person witnesses may not be the same as what others see - so by exploring this in play form - we’re able to show participants the subtleties of a bullying relationship, the effect it has at home and in the workplace, and how this behaviour should be managed. Much Ado About Hector can be tailored to best suit your workplace and what effects your business - with changes to cast, language and training to create the best learning outcomes for you. Changes in legislation regarding how bullying is handled commenced on 1 January 2014 under the Fair Work Act 2009. These changes place greater responsibilities on Employers to have Grievance Procedures in place and adhered to. This experience allows flexibility in delivery allowing participants to: ENGAGE Watch the play, witness the bullying relationship from different perspectives and see the effect of inappropriate behaviour. DEBATE Discuss what constitutes bullying, where to draw the line, when to step in and what procedures to follow. INCREASE KNOWLEDGE This is a great way to launch initiatives to large audiences before working in smaller groups to impart knowledge and develop skills. Gain information about the changes to the Fair Work Act, how it impacts workplaces and what you need to do to be compliant. INTERACT Shape the play by suggesting changes in behaviour to the performers. Observe in real time how different approaches can change others behaviour and effect the outcome. BUILD SKILLS Gain hands-on-experience practising new skills to take back to the workplace. Our Theatre based experiences are devised and written in Australia for Australian audiences and can be tailored to best suit your field. DELIVERY The play + workshop can be delivered in half-day or full-day mode to small and large groups. A 1 hour version is available for conferences. LARGE GROUPS (100+) The play can be delivered to large groups (100+) and then split into small groups for further learning and skill building either concurrently, or on-going.
