华北电力大学 North China Electric Power University International Technological Training Program On Power Generation with Renewable Energy Sources And Its Integration into the Power Grid I. Program Introduction In recent years, China’s renewable energy technologies have developed rapidly after enacting and carrying out related laws and regulations as well as development strategies and technical routes on renewable energy. Renewable energy technologies and installment capacity of wind and solar power have grown by leaps and bounds. Thus, many achievements and experiences in renewable energy technologies can be shared with other developing countries. This technological training program targets on introducing China’s renewable energy technologies to the Central Asia and aims to accomplish the following specific goals: 1. Introducing comprehensive theories of renewable energy as well as grid integration technology and its application. 2. Exploring ways and means to help Central Asia develop and update their renewable energy technologies. 3. Promoting cooperation and communications in area of power generation with renewable energy sources between China and Central Asia countries. The training program is sponsored by the Chinese government and organized by North China Electric Power University. II. Financial Arrangements: 1. The Chinese government will be responsible for their training tuition fees during their training at North China Electric Power University. 2. The Chinese government will be responsible for foods, accommodation and personal accident injury insurance during their training at North China Electric Power University. 3. The Chinese government will be responsible for providing RMB 80 yuan (about 13 US dollars) to each trainee per day during their training at North China Electric Power University. 4. Trainees need to pay for the round-trip tickets of either train or air flight, and visa 华北电力大学 North China Electric Power University application fees. III. Recruitment Total Number: 20 trainees Position: Senior officers, senior engineers or professionals from the electric power companies, electric power energy department of government, or universities. Work experience: More than 10 years of working experience in the field of electric power. Nationality: Kazakhstan, Tajikistan, Kyrgyzstan, Uzbekistan, Pakistan, Mongolia Age: Under 50 Physical condition: Good health, no infectious diseases or disability Language requirement: High English language proficiency (listening, speaking, reading and writing) Deadline of Recruitment: 30 May, 2015.
