Commisioning Service for CPSWs You are invited to participate in the Natural Church Development (NCD) survey as a representative cross section of the Blackwood Church of Christ In a Nutshell, NCD is an opportunity for an informed conversation about the health, vitality and possibility of your church. In October 2014 the State Ministry Team discerned an opportunity to invite Churches of Christ churches in SA to participate in this conversation. This tool will help us understand and celebrate the life of our churches and what we might be able to discover together that can help us be more effective in engaging God’s mission in our local contexts. NCD is one of a number of tools we are using to facilitate this conversation. Through surveying a cross section of the membership of a church, we will receive data giving us a snapshot in a point in time of key factors that strengthen the life and ministry of that church, and key factors that may be preventing the church from reaching its full potential. Blackwood is one of 9 churches invited to participate in the first round of this process. The State Ministry Team will work alongside the core leadership and the church to understand the report and implement next steps. I look forward to working with you as we strengthen our capacity to engage God’s mission through this church. Complete the survey online We would like to commence the online delivery of the survey on Friday February 27th and paper survey on Sunday March 1st Please contact Graham Thomas for any further enquiries regarding participating in NCD graham@devonclothing.com.au or 0432 081 078
