Handbells rang out at the 87th
Annual Bradner Flower Show
The Bradner Flower Show ““The Good, the Bad & the Bug-ily”
was a huge success again this year. Our own Bradner Elementary
School Handbell Choir performed for the opening ceremonies
with a Handbell performance.
We would like to take this opportunity to say “THANK YOU VERY
MUCH” to Ms. Val Duma, who spent numerous hours
volunteering her time and talent to conduct our Handbell
presentation. Ms. Duma is a vital part of the Bradner
Family. We can’t say Thank You enough about all she does
in and around Bradner Elementary School to help us
maintain the high standard of achievement that we strive
to provide all our students.
Thank you to all the classes that provided artwork
to decorate the tearoom, it looked fabulous. We
received several comments from the general
public about what well behaved students we have
here at Bradner Elementary School.
May Pole Dance Team
Maypole Dance Team permission slips will be coming
home shortly. Practices will be held at noon on Tuesdays and

Twin Day
On Friday, April 24th, Bradner will be hosting a
Twin Day. Dress up like someone else in the
school. It’s all about School Spirit and having fun.
SUMMER CLOTHING
As our summer weather arrives, we’d like to remind
parents and students about appropriate dress for
school.
We expect that clothing be worn so that no midriffs are
showing when standing or sitting, shoulders are covered (no
spaghetti straps, tank tops or tube tops) and shirts have
modest necklines. We also ask that students not wear short
shorts. Thank you for your attention to this before the weather
becomes much warmer.
