Here, the emphasis is on the marriage of fabric, structure and colour to achieve a harmonious, stylish look in every curtain that also matches the other products in the FANNYARONSEN Collection. Linen Linen is a natural product consisting of fibres from the straws of the flax plant. One of the advantages of linen is its naturally smooth, shiny surface that repels dirt while its structure makes the curtains fall gracefully. FANNYARONSEN’s linen curtains are produced in Sweden, a country with long linen-making traditions. Kosmos Kosmos is an elegant, semi-transparent linen curtain woven from specially spun yarn of the finest quality. The yarn and the structure give Kosmos an exceptionally beautiful sheen that highlights the lustre of the linen. The new colour scheme is adapted to modern interiors in shades both striking and familiar. The scale ranges from organic colours such as white, natural, ecru and eggshell to warm tones of mole and camel and the dark, exclusive nuances of chocolate-brown, petroleum and anthracite. The green shades are inspired by pistachio, olive and fennel, and are supplemented by a deep rich fuchsia and warm terracotta and orange tones. Kosmos is the ancient Greek term for the organised world. The name has been chosen for this light-weight curtain because its pure simplicity epitomises the concept of order. The yarn itself makes the fabric fall gracefully and gives it the sheen so characteristic of linen. However, what makes Kasiopeja truly ambient is the thin, subtle metallic thread woven into the fabric. The elegant colour palette contains pale, beautiful natural shades of white, ecru and camel, supplemented with the exotic dark nuances of chocolate-brown, petroleum and anthracite. Kasiopeja is colour-coordinated with Kosmos. Kasiopeja is associated with the constellation Cassiopeja; whenever light falls on the fabric, it shines and sparkles like the Cassiopeia constellation for which the curtain is named. Two-tone diamond shapes create a Harlequin pattern that gives the curtain its interesting and unusual expression. The two semi-transparent layers overlap, creating an exciting effect that seems to dissolve the shape of the pattern when the light falls on the curtain. The colour scale of white/ecru, chocolate-brown/petroleum, mole/anthracite and white/anthracite complements modern interiors. The colours are coordinated with the Kosmos and Kasiopeja ranges. Korona, from the Latin word corona meaning crown, is the term for the outermost layer of the sun’s atmosphere.
