CDLC Choir Rehearsal
Choir will rehearse before worship today at 8:45. and

Alex Quinn’s Senior Violin Recital: 4/26
Alex Quinn, daughter of our Admin Assistant Lisa
Quinn, invites you to her senior recital on Sunday
April 26th at 3pm. The recital will be held at Good
Shepherd Trinity Church (Concordia & Sherman).
Our very own Robert Gee will be her accompanist.
Alex has played for us in worship previously, and you
will remember how talented she is.
Anyone wishing to add a person to the prayer list
or to remove someone with thanksgiving may do

Common Ground Delegates Assembly
Join us at Mount Mary University on Wed April 29th at
7pm for the Common Ground spring Delegates Assembly! We’re changing things up this year— the event
features an Issues Campaign Fair. Delegates will get to
visit presentations and workshops for the
various campaigns CG has been working
on. Dig deeper and have a chance to ask
your questions to the people directly
involved in the work. If you would like to
attend, please contact Linda Jaeger or Pastor Alexis.
Theatre Invite
Wauwatosa East High School is presenting “Tarzan”
May 1,2,8,9 at 7:30pm and May 3, 10 at 2pm. Reserved

Spring into Good Health
The Body and Soul Healing Arts Center offers daily
exercise options including Zumba, Nia, and Yoga.
There are also two workshops planned: Planting a
Healing Herbal Tea Garden on Saturday April 18 122pm and EARTH DAY! (Wed April 22 6-9pm) Plant
based Cooking Lesson and Community Meal.
Adopt-a-Block Neighborhood Clean-up
Our District 7 Faith-Based Initiative continues to
support the neighborhood of 44th-45th St, Center to
Locust. We have done trash clean ups every week for
the last month. On Sat May 2nd (11am), we will continue to do surveys with residents to get to know them, and
discern their community needs and capacity, plus cleanup. We need all hands on deck! If you can help, meet at
44th & Center! It’s a great way to build stronger communities!
Family Empowerment Fair
Volunteer or attend the Fair on Sat May 9th from 10am
— 1pm at the Mary Ryan Boys and Girls Club in Sherman Park on Sherman Blvd. This is a 2nd annual District 7 Faith Based Initiative event, meant to support
families who’ve been affected by domestic violence.
Menomonee Falls Symphony Orchestra
MFSO will present their Spring classical concert on Saturday May 16 at 7:30pm at Mount Carmel Lutheran.

recycling, Body and Soul is collecting cloth napkins
(new or gently used) in any color, size, or fun print!
We will be collecting through Sunday May 10 with
our EPiC partners.
Our 3rd Annual Mother’s Day Pancake
Breakfast Fundraiser for youth going to
Bible Camp will be Sunday May 10th, at
10:30am. Tickets are $8/ adult.
