Spring Celebration: Religious Booth –We need
religious items for our Spring Celebration (new or
used) including: crucifixes, Rosaries, Nativity sets,
statues (Jesus, Mary, any saint or angel), medals, religious art or wall hangings, prayer books, Catholic
Bibles, etc., holy cards, most anything Catholic!
Spring Celebration baked goods—And yes, there
is another way to help donate: the bake sale! We
need baked goods to sell! Some suggestions:

FT Director for Marriage and Family Life
The Diocese of Fargo is currently accepting applications for a full-time Director for Marriage and Family
Life. This role will have the responsibility of coordinating staff, programs and activities, facilitating communication and providing leadership to parishes within the diocese in the area of marriage and family life. The successful candidate will be a faithful and practicing Catholic, possess a graduate theological degree, with 3-5 years experience in pastoral ministry. Other qualifications include: the ability to work effectively in hierarchical and collegial settings, the ability to articulate vision and strategy, strong communication and interpersonal skills, proven

Part-Time Development Assistant
St. Paul’s Newman Center, on the NDSU campus (Fargo, ND) is accepting applications for a part-time (30-35
hours) Development Assistant. Primary duties will include: database management, annual appeal activities, and
donor communications. Successful candidate will have an affinity for Catholic Campus Ministry with strong
writing, editing, data entry and proofreading skills; emphasis on accuracy and confidentiality. Must also be a
team player with interpersonal skills, have the ability to prioritize and handle multiple projects and possess proficient software skills. FT Custodian
JPII Catholic Schools is looking for a full-time custodian to work under the direction of the School Administrator. Primary duties will include: plan, coordinate and perform custodial services to maintain a neat, clean, sanitary
and safe school facility. Candidates must be able to work appropriately with children of all ages. Other requirements include but are not limited to working with a wide variety of cleaning chemicals and equipment, making
minor repairs such as changing light bulbs and ballasts, changing filters and maintaining inventory and records.

Is God Calling You to Serve this Summer? In 2001, the Diocese of Fargo, North Dakota began a volunteer
ministry to meet the needs of the youth in our rural parishes. This ministry is called the Young Disciples Teams.
Through their witness marked by the joy and hope of Faith, the Young Disciples’ Teams seek to challenge others
to love Jesus Christ and to embrace the life of His Church. Young Disciples camps include daily Mass, lessons,
crafts, games, songs that centered on Scripture and Catechism. It is the Young Disciples’ goal and mission to
teach the younger generations the beauty and depth of the Catholic faith. Summer Missionaries Needed: We are
looking for missionaries (men and women), between ages 18 to 30 who love Jesus and the Church and yearn to
grow in their faith. The summer teams spend ten weeks running vacation Bible schools. The term is 10 weeks
this summer, May 14th-July 28th . Team members will have a break from June 27th-July 3th. All team members
will receive pay of $1500 plus the opportunity to raise sponsorship funds on top of that. Potentially a team member could end the summer with more money in pocket than working a typical summer job. Contact the Young

SERRA Dinner – Each month the Vocation Office sponsors a SERRA Dinner for individuals interested in supporting vocations. A delicious meal is served (free will offering), followed by a short vocation story from area
clergy and concludes with easy ideas to encourage vocations in your parish or family. This year, our meetings take
place at Nativity Catholic Church at 1825 11th St S, the corner of I-94 and University Drive, in Fargo. We meet
the third Tuesday of every month from 6 to 7 p.m. Call the Diocese of Fargo Vocation Office to RSVP or for

Throughout the day we have many opportunities to “see the face of Jesus” in others and provide some “peace”
in their lives. Just because the person is a stranger, maybe looks different than us, or is someone we don’t particularly care for, doesn’t let us off the hook.

‘cathedral’ originates from a Latin word, cathedra, meaning seat. The Cathedral Church serves as the
seat of the Bishop in a particular Diocese. All visitors who are not of the Roman Catholic faith are
welcome to join us in prayer but to refrain from receiving Holy Communion. Reception of Holy
Communion is a sign of unity of faith and full membership in the Catholic Church.
Together let us pray for the eventual unity of all believers.
