w w w. de n v e r INC .org Neighborhoods work better when they work together. Greetings, Denver Neighbors, April 20, 2015 Our Inter Neighborhood Cooperation’s (INC) Public Safety Committee has started a citywide program where we and any interested citizens will be visiting our six Denver Police District Stations. We will hold our meetings in the upcoming months on the fourth Tuesday of the month. The Commanders of the districts will discuss issues they face in their area. We will also be joined each month by a guest speaker who will let us know about other public safety programs in Denver. The first INC Public Safety meeting will be held at DPD District 1 station, 1311 West 46th Ave., on Tuesday, April 28th at 6:00 PM. Commander Paul Pazen will welcome us and discuss issues that officers and citizens face in northwest Denver. Our guests at this meeting will be staff of the City Attorney’s Office Neighborhood Prosecution Team (“NPT”). This team seeks solutions outside the usual “arrest and prosecute” approach to crime. They believe that proactively engaging the community to address crime in the neighborhood, with neighbors, positively impacts the livability of our great City. We hope you will join us on Tuesday for a very informative meeting. Thank you, Merce Lea publicsafety@incdenver.org Inter-Neighborhood Cooperation P.O. Box 300684 Denver, CO 80218-0684
