Do Your Associate Pastor “Homework!”
Our Associate Pastor Search Committee is working hard to
wade through, process, vet, interview, and recommend various
candidates for the full-time ministry position of Associate Pastor, here at
Heath Church. This is no mean task! God bless our committee for the
hundreds of hours they will, no doubt, log before this process is
complete.
THEY, however, are not the only ones who need to put forth effort
toward the accomplishment of this gargantuan project. We ALL have
important roles to play. That means YOU!
– PRAY! Pray for the committee; pray for the candidates;
pray for the church that GOD will have HIS way in this
critically important process and result.
–BECOME A MEMBER & VOTE! If you are saved, 18 or
over, and Heath Church is “your church” why don’t you
become a member if you’re not already. That way you
can let your voice be heard as we’re voting for our new
Associate Pastor. (Only official members are afforded
the privilege of voting for church officers/ministers).
(New Member forms are on the Literature Table].
–REMEMBER! After you become a member, then you need
to “RE-Member!”  As different candidates come to
our church for Sunday services and preach, meet, &
greet, we need to PAY ATTENTION and REMEMBER
what/how we felt and what we construed as God’s
direction and our reaction to each candidate. Though
you’re just SO SURE you’ll remember ALL ABOUT that
certain candidate, the fact is – you probably WON’T a
few weeks down the road! Take notes; listen to the
sermon(s) again online; discuss the candidate with your
family; pray; and REMEMBER!
If you would like to add a prayer concern to the bulletin, please e-mail it to ddowning4@triad.rr.com
by Wed., 5:00 p.m. in order to ensure that it appears in the following Sunday’s bulletin.

God will always do HIS part. But .. He won’t do OUR homework for
us, if can do it ourselves! Let’s ALL be a part of God’s great kingdombuilding work here at Heath Church, as He leads us along to bigger,
better and brighter days ahead! 
Special Speaker – June 7
Sermon Notes:
On Sunday, June 7, Rev. David Kendall and his family of Knoxville, TN,
will be here at Heath Church for the purpose of trying out for the position of

6:00 p.m. services – Lord willing.
“Treasures Of The Snow”
(Pt. VIII)
There will be a joint-meeting of HeathDirectors, The Assoc. Pastor
Search Comm., and Rev. Kendall, at 3 p.m. that day, in the church
fellowship hall, for the purpose of more extensive and in-depth interview.
