KJT District VIII Family Day KJT District VIII will hold its annual Family Day Sunday April 26th at Bowers Lake, near Caldwell, with festivities beginning at 1:00 pm. Knights of Columbus BBQ Chicken Plate The Caldwell Knights of Columbus will be selling BBQ chicken plates, to go only, this Sunday, April 12th from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm behind the St. Mary's gym. Cost is $10.00 per plate and includes one half BBQ chicken, twice baked potatoes, green beans, onions and pickles. Stampede For Need 5k Run/Walk On Saturday April 18th, at Central Park in College Station, St. Mary’s Catholic Center ACT (Advocates for Christ) will host a Stampede for Need 5k Run/ Walk. Registration begins at 8:00 am and the race begins at 9:00 am. Cost is $20 before race day and $25 on race day. The Stampede for Need is a fun way to join the spirit of giving and to show the poor in our community that we really do care about them. All proceeds from the 5k will go directly to the local St. Vincent de Paul Society.
