Missionary Highlight: Derick & Stella Mehboob The Early Edition March 29, 2015 More than 22 million people live in and around New York City. Among them are more than 500 language/people groups who have come from all over the world. Many among this vast number are Muslim; to reach them for Christ will require missionaries who know the languages and cultures. That’s why Southern Baptists have sent Derick and Stella Mehboob to Brooklyn. They have started the Metropolitan New Revival Church, which meets on 8th Street in the southwestern part of the borough. If you heard their music, accompanied by keyboard and drums, you would probably find it strange to your ears. But they are praising the same Jesus during worship this morning. We are helping support Derick and Stella because our church gives through the Cooperative Program. Today let’s pray that God would keep them safe and empower them to lead many to faith in Christ. What does it mean to be a Christian? A Christian is someone who is becoming like Christ. It sounds simple, but it’s only possible through a relationship with Jesus Christ. Fully God and fully man, Jesus came to this earth, lived a perfect life, died to pay for everything we did wrong, and rose from the dead so that we could enjoy life with Him. He’s already done everything for our salvation. Our role is to repent (turn away from our sin), surrender our life to Him, and follow Him. Still have questions? Contact our Pastor, visit our JBC website, or visit www.billygraham.org. Sharon is in the church office Monday-Thursday from 9-5. Please submit all bulletin/calendar information by noon on Monday. 3203 US Hwy. 601 South Mocksville, NC 27028 336-284-2328 To EMAIL a prayer request: prayerrequests@jbcmocksville.org Our website: www.jbcmocksville.org Welcome to The Church Ministry Budget Jerusalem Baptist Church Seeking to Win, Disciple, and Serve March 29, 2015 Our Budget Weekly Need: $3,430.80 Last Week’s Budget Offerings: $2,246.00 Annie Armstrong Easter Offering: $506.00 Grand Total Mission Giving 2015: $3,080.49 Budget Missions: Paying Off The Building Debt Prelude Carolyn & Nevida Welcome & Prayer Building Fund Weekly Need: $1,154.00 Monthly Building Payment: $5,000.00 Praise Team Last Week’s Building Fund Offering: $1,000.00 Dave Wilcox Balance on Loan: Pastor Donnie “Holy Ground” Prayer Special Music “Calvary’s Love” Offertory Hymn #147 “Blessed Redeemer” Congregation Offertory Prayer Deacon of the Month Michael Fulton Choir His Tithes, Our Offerings Carolyn & Nevida Annie Armstrong Easter Offering Video Message from God’s Holy Word Hymn of Decision #307 Benediction Pastor Donnie “Just As I Am” Congregation $67,617.16 NURSERY WORKERS March 29th: Sunday School: Jordain Taylor & Jennifer West Nursery AM Worship: Melanie Hunter & Amelia Latham PM Worship: Jennifer West Wed.
