WELCOME THE VISITING
MADONNA
While we are encouraged to embrace
Jesus’ cross, perhaps the next best
thing we can do as the faithful is to turn
to
the
Blessed
Mother
for
guidance…”Blessed Mother, please
help me.” As human beings, we can’t do
everything. But the Blessed Mother can
go to her Son Jesus and do wonders.
The Knights of Columbus are offering
intimate prayer devotions in your own
homes to all parishioners so that every
family may experience visitation for one
week from our Visiting Madonna.
Families will begin to experience a
sense of peace, quiet and reflection while saying the Rosary as a
family with Our Lady. The family that prays together stays
together. If you are interested in participating in welcoming the
Visiting Madonna, please call Sam Konrad at (843) 399-7003 or
email him at skonrad1@sccoast.net.
This week, The Visiting Madonna will be presented to
Andy Woitko at the 5:00 PM Mass.
HEALING SERVICE
A Healing Service will be conducted at the Shrine in
Kingstree on Wednesday, June 3, 2015. All parishioners
and visitors are welcome to attend. If you are interested,
please call Michael DiMartino at 843-663-1277 for more
information.
MASS FOR THE HEARING IMPAIRED
The 10:00 AM Mass on the 4th Sunday of the
month will be signed as a service to those in
need in our community. If you know of
anyone who is hearing impaired, please invite
them to attend.
ATTENTION EXTRAORDINARY MINISTERS!
We are looking for a few EM’s to be hospital ministers. You
will only have to go once every 5 weeks and you will have
to attend an initial orientation at the Grand Strand Hospital.
You will be scheduled with 2 or 3 other ministers so you
won’t be alone. It takes about 1 to 1 1/2 hours to distribute
communion at the hospital. This is a very rewarding
ministry! Training provided. Call Rosie at the Church office if
you would like to be on the Hospital Ministry Team.
THE NEXT RACHEL'S VINEYARD
RETREAT will be in the Charleston
area, June 12-14, 2015. The retreat is
very helpful in sorting out feelings and
thoughts about an abortion experience
so that healing can occur.
For more information, Call Christy 803 554 6088 or Kathy
803 546 6010 or grace4healing@gmail.com The retreat is
Confidential and Non-judgmental, This is the time.
The Office of Family Life is taking official registrations for
our Diocesan trip to Philadelphia, PA for the World
Meeting of Families now through July 1, 2015. We
depart from Columbia, SC on Monday September 21,
2015 and return Monday, September 28th, 2015. We
will be staying in Philadelphia for the World Meeting of
Families Conference through the papal Mass on
Sunday. Total costs for this trip will vary per individual,
as we are providing transportation and lodging only. If
you have any questions or would like to register, please

BISHOP’S ANNUAL APPEAL
2015 Bishop’s Annual Appeal - Update
In the first 5 months of 2015, the Bishop’s Annual Appeal
has collected over $2.3 million dollars in donations. To
date, our parish has contributed $50,071.36 towards our
goal of $67,965.00. This represents 73.67% of our goal
from 24.46% of our registered households. Please keep in
mind that our parish receives 50% of all funds raised
above our appeal target.
Each year, the Bishop’s Annual Appeal presents us with
the unique opportunity to look outside our own parish
boundaries and support the wider Church of our Diocese.
As Catholics, we are part of the universal Church which
means we are joined together with our brothers and sisters
throughout the State of South Carolina and the world.
Bishop Guglielmone has invited everyone in the Diocese of
Charleston to participate in the appeal by making a
donation to support our diocesan ministries. He would like
to thank you for your help in making this year’s Bishop’s
Annual Appeal a success.

FIESTA DEL ESPIRITU SANTO - PENTECOSTES
Queridos Hermanos:
Padre Orlando.
EVANGELIZACION
CATEQUESIS PARA ADULTOS (R.I.C.A.)
