Visitation to natural and cultural heritage destinations, including scenic landscapes, parks and ancient civilisation sites is increasing year-on-year, with 26 locations added to the World Heritage List in 2014 alone, totalling over 1,000 natural and cultural sites. With increasing amounts of visitors travelling to these attractions and regions, a challenge arises between the need for visitation and the appropriate management of the authentic and natural sites. The conference programme will feature international and domestic speakers to discuss sessions including the Successful Management of Heritage Sites, Social Media in China, Competitive Marketing Strategies by Destinations and the Future Outlook of Innovation and Technology use in the Travel and Tourism Industry. Registration Fees (applied to all delegates attending conference on 24 April) About Leshan Leshan is a prefecture-level city located at the confluence of the Dadu and Min rivers in the Sichuan Province of China.
