Dear ROSC Member, February 2015 Military Life...Our Box of Chocolates! I don't know about you, but for me, thoughts of February always include hearts and f chocolates. Who doesn't love to receive these? With this in mind, I remembered the movie Forrest Gump..."Life is like a box of chocolates. You never know what your gon idea resonates so much with military life, because you really never know what the fut next assignment will offer, or where you'll be in a year, or possibly even in six weeks resilient and adventurous bunch, able to take on this uncertainty. Upon further reflection, I've decided my first idea about military life and the box of ch completely accurate. We may not know what we're gonna get, but we can make the thing I've heard repeatedly throughout our military years; "It's what you make of it". its sweet spots waiting out there to be found, you just have to find them. I'd like to b fellow military spouse, Melissa James, shared with me at our last base. It explains th "LIVE". LLearn each assignment has something to offer; just go find it. I Investigate each town/city; find something to connect you to it. V Volunteer; giving back is always a winwin E Enjoy yourself: join clubs, meet neighbors, make friends As military spouses, we can truly "LIVE", making good choices from our particular and finding just the right one for you! This month, I encourage you to find these bes I'm sure it'll be sweet! Make it GREAT!
