You have to create a new SMTP Server virtual port in order to receive the messages sent from the PC email client. NOTE: Use the parameter Authorized group to authorize incoming e-mail messages. The following options are available: • Without authorization – incoming e-mail messages are accepted without authorization • Any – e-mail messages matching any PBX user login are accepted • Group of users – e-mail messages matching user logins from a certain user group are accepted. If a superior group is selected, all subgroup users are included too. b) Configure NS for OUTGOING sms: Message routing for SMTPD port just created (Incoming emails) must be set to some GSM port or bundle. c) Finally to send the emails from the PC configure the email client (ex: Mozilla Thunderbird). The emails will be sent (OUTGOING server SMTP settings) to the NetStar IP (in the example 192.168.50.100) through the port 25. Be aware that this port can cause conflict in the network. If you select Any or group of users in Authorization SMS TO EMAIL part Netstar can receive SMS from GSM Network and send it to a predefined email address. The steps to follow are: a) Add a new Virtual port of type SMTP klient in Netstar. Configure with your mail server settings depending on the address from which you want to send the emails (smtp.2n.cl server in the example). b) Create a new email extension (User->extensions->email) with the same address of the previous step (netstar@2n.cl). Configure No port routing select the virtual port SMTP that was previously created c) Configure NS for INCOMING sms. You must set up the message routing for the GSM virtual ports to some particular email extension (EMAIL _EXTENSION (netstar@2n.cl )in example).
