Contestant must be an instrumentalist, between 18 24 years of age and enrolled in undergraduate or graduate studies (exceptions may be made at the discretion
of the Hellam Committee). We regret that we will not
be accepting vocalists this year.
Entry fee is $60.00 (non-refundable) Check or Money
Order. Deadline November 15, 2014.

Entry must be accompanied by a recent photograph and
a copy of a current photo ID with d.o.b. ( Entry application, photograph, and photo ID, may be submitted

The top ten (10) entrants will be notified by Jan. 7, 2015
of their invitation to perform in the semi-finals on the
morning of March 7, 2015, in Springfield, MO. Acceptance of the invitation to compete in the semi-finals
must be received by January 21, 2015.
The first three (3) alternates will be informed of their
status by January 7, 2015.
The ten (10) semi-finalists will be invited, but not required, to arrive in Springfield on March 6,2015.
Housing will be provided by host families, if desired,
from March 6, 2015 to March 8, 2015.
Semi-finalists will compete in the morning of
March 7, 2015.
Finalists will perform in the afternoon of March 7, 2015.
Semi-finalists must provide his or her own accompanist
and provide three (3) additional copies of their score,
or scores; one for each of the three (3) judges. Please be
sure the scores are all the same.
Each entrant must submit at least one movement of
a standard, multi-movement, or large-scale, major
