Mission Trip To Guatemala
On January 1, 2015, 12 teenagers and four adults from
our four neighboring parishes (Saint Edward Church,
Saint Anthony, Church of the Presentation, and St Mary
Church Pawtucket, will be chosen as missionaries and
prepare themselves to work with over 200 children, at
the Valley of the Angels orphanage in Guatemala this
July! (www.valleyoftheangelsorphanage.com).
We are not just looking for any teenager or any adult
chaperone. We are not looking for the first 12 people to
sign up. What we are looking for, is just the
right teenager and adult, individuals mature enough to
understand the call, the work, and the spirituality of
what it is to be a missionary and what it is to be Christ
for others. We will start preparing on a weekly
basis beginning in January.
If you are a high school Senior or adult interested in
being considered for a mission spot, please email
Fr. Mark Sauriol at Frmark100@aol.com Explain in
your email a little about yourself, age, grade and why
you think your ready to be a Missionary.
An information Night will be held in November for
parents and teens.
Basketball Program
Parents will be appreciated to assist in the tasks
of hosting the home games which will begin mid November. Coaches are needed and welcome for
our basketball program. Please call Tom Malloy at

Dear Parishioners,
Last week I gave an update to Presentation
Parishioners on the progress of the disposition of the
rectory and the replacement of the lower flat roof
over the main church entrance. Because it is a high
ticket item I urged everyone to be faithful to their
weekly church contributions. This week I write to
Saint Anthony Parishioners referring to the recent
letter I sent with the annual collection request. If you
look at the weekly collection results for this past
weekend you will agree that it is very low for this
time of year. I am hoping it was due to the holiday
weekend wherein many people usually catch up a
week or two later. Anyway I pray that you will
contribute this year if you are able. I try my best to
keep expenses down as much as can. That is because
I am very fortunate to have a small staff of dedicated
employees and volunteers who always do more than
is required in their jobs to save the parish money. As
you know I am happy to do my own laundry, cooking
and cleaning to economize so that we can invest the
savings in youth ministry and outreach to the poor. I
know you have a lot going on in your own
households which require sacrifice on your part. But
please don’t forget your parish and make that extra
sacrifice.
God bless your week!
Father Ed
IT TAKES A CHURCH TO RAISE A CHOIR

leave your name and phone number for Father Ed.
CALLING ALL CRAFTERS

7 PM in the Saint Anthony Parish Center. We will be

welcome - bring a friend!
CHRISTMAS PAST FLEA MARKET
Once again we will be having our Christmas Past
Flea Market during our Holiday Bazaar . While doing
your fall cleaning, please set aside any unwanted
Christmas decorations or holiday related items. We
are only accepting new or “like new” items, toys,
jewelry, and glassware for this flea market. Please
note: we are unable to accept living room furniture or
any heavy items for this flea market. To make
arrangements to drop items off at the Parish Center,
call Angela Spaziano at 663-6687. Please do not leave
any items outside the Parish Center.
The St. Edward Food and Wellness Center is in need of
toiletries for their clients. Donations may be brought to
Mass and placed in the basket located at the entrance of
the Churches.
HOLY FAMILY HOME UPDATE
Work began this past week with the interior painting
project. Every surface will be repainted by the same
excellent company which just repainted the Saint Edward
Church sanctuary. Please return your volunteer forms by
mail or in the collection basket. Please don’t call to offer
used furniture, clothing or household items.

Tú has hablado conmigo.
nuestros familiares difuntos.. Dependen de nosotros!
FERIA DE MINISTERIOS
