If you are looking for an outlet for Real Impact outside of your immediate spheres of influence, then consider loving and helping those in need at Lamb's Basket, a local food pantry located at 8419 Oakview Avenue: Help Stock Shelves: Monday, November 3 (10:00 AM-1:00 PM) Help Distribute Food: Tuesday, November 11 (9:30 AM-1:00 PM) Immediate needs: spaghetti sauce, rice, cereal, canned beans, paper and plastic bags. You can put these in the Lamb’s Basket bin in the back room of the small brick house. Thank you! Volunteer shopper needed for Lamb’s Basket: volunteer once a week to purchase food from Central VA Food Bank. Thursday, November 19 - Family Dinner: The school is requesting 50 pies (homemade or purchased) plus 10 volunteers to help with hospitality and serving. If you are able to help cut pies, you are needed by 3:30 p.m. If only serving, you would need to arrive by 4:30 p.m. This is a great chance to interact with hundreds of the families in their community. You must complete a Henrico County Public Schools’ volunteer application and return it to the church office if you would like to volunteer for the dinner.
