Love Your Neighbor, Donate to the Lamb's Basket!
If you are looking for an outlet for Real Impact outside of your immediate
spheres of influence, then consider loving and helping those in need at
Lamb's Basket, a local food pantry located at 8419 Oakview Avenue:
Help Stock Shelves: Monday, November 3 (10:00 AM-1:00 PM)
Help Distribute Food: Tuesday, November 11 (9:30 AM-1:00 PM)
Immediate needs: spaghetti sauce, rice, cereal, canned beans, paper
and plastic bags. You can put these in the Lamb’s Basket bin in the back
room of the small brick house. Thank you!
Volunteer shopper needed for Lamb’s Basket: volunteer once a week
to purchase food from Central VA Food Bank. If interested, please call
the Lamb’s Basket at 804-565-8007 or email lbfoodpantry@gmail.com.

Thursday, November 19 - Family Dinner: The school is requesting 50 pies (homemade or purchased) plus 10 volunteers to help
with hospitality and serving. If you are able to help cut pies, you are
needed by 3:30 p.m. If only serving, you would need to arrive by
4:30 p.m. This is a great chance to interact with hundreds of the
families in their community. You must complete a Henrico County
Public Schools’ volunteer application and return it to the church office
if you would like to volunteer for the dinner. Applications are available from the church office or online:

Our church has adopted Johnson Elementary for the 2014-2015 school
year. Already you have blessed numerous families with your outpouring
of backpacks and school supplies! Here are three additional ways to
show the love of Christ to those in this school community this fall.
Collecting immediately for the clinic - extra boys and girls
new or gently-used clothes; NEW underwear (pre-K up to 2nd
grade), shirts and elastic or adjustable waist pants (pre-K through
5th grade).
