NEXT SUNDAY- I conclude the sexual component of our sermon series
with the message, “What’s ‘Fidelity’?” from the text I Corinthians 6:1520. (What IS fidelity and what does it have to do with me?)
We will also celebrate COMMUNION together following the
message. (If you are a follower of Christ, you are welcome to
share “the Lord’s Supper” with us!)
And prior to the message, we will have a child dedication for
Parker Bixler.
In two weeks (Nov. 9)- the message is titled, “Power” beginning in the
text Genesis 11:1-4.
SPORT’S SUNDAY- Nov. 16- Plan to wear your favorite team’s colors!
We will welcome guest speaker, Jerry Lucas, former Basketball great
from Ohio State! Sunday evening, Jerry will lead/teach a session
entitled, “Learning Made Fun and Easy” and Monday evening, Jerry will
have a time to share his testimony and his memory skills approach.
Plan ahead for this special weekend!

We are again collecting items for the FISH Food Pantry. We will collect
items for FISH through November 9. While all items are gratefully
accepted, the following items are especially needed: 5# sugar, noodles,
paper towels, canned fruit, coffee, canned beef, canned pineapple, cake
mixes, cake frosting, canned kidney beans, refried beans, macaroni and
cheese, crackers, hamburger helper, vegetable oil, Bisquick, pancake
mix, pancake syrup, jelly/jam, canned fruit juices, 1# pkg. pinto beans, 1#
bags of rice, hand dishwashing detergent, paper towels, large diapers,
toothpaste, shampoo. SPECIAL NEED THIS MONTH: Toilet paper.
Crossroads Church, Wauseon is bringing back the Good News Quartet
and the Bill Beck Band for one night Saturday, November 8 at 7:30 PM.
There will be a free will donation to benefit Rock Africa 2015.
We will hold Fall Communion on Sunday, November 2. A portion of that
Sunday’s offering will go to the Compassion Fund. Please plan your giving
accordingly!

It’s time again to check your Medicare Prescription drug plans. We, at
Everence, would like to help you in deciding what the best plan would be
for you in 2015. You have from October 15th to December 7th to make
any changes. Please call Denise at 419-446-4618 if you would like to set
up a time to review your options.
Something new from Everence for the 4th quarter. Everence will be
offering an incentive to anyone who will refer Medicare Supplement age
persons to Everence. If the referral results in a sale Everence will donate
$20 to the charity or church of your choice. The person being referred
needs to make sure they tell Denise who referred them to us. Just
another way for Everence to give back.
