What would you “share” using those social media channels?
Who would you involve?
Are there other communication/media types you can leverage? How?
What other creative ideas do you have around using social media?
You’ve just started creating a Social Media Strategy!
Example – Rotary is… Campaign!
• A simple idea – a simple task
• Collect photos of Rotarians sharing their words in a visual way
• Share these photos:
• Facebook
• Flickr
• YouTube – video collection
• @ Rotary events
• Create materials & tools –
• Postcards
• QR codes
• Posters
• E-greetings
• and more!
Calls to Action:
•
Social Media isn’t going anywhere, so:
•
Get online and research the different social media tools
•
Create a social media “strategy” – like you started today!
•
Take a “Rotary is…” photo and submit it
katie.ehlis@gmail.com
•
Be open to new ideas and the change that supports those ideas!
•
Social media is like a fast moving train – we can’t afford to sit idly
while you think if you should get on board.
