Reflection from the Pastor:
This weekend, the Church recalls the Communion of the Saints in
two different liturgical celebrations: All Saints and All Souls. The
Solemnity of All Saints reminds us of all those men and women
who have been faithful to Christ in this life, and now share with
Him the joys of Heaven. The Commemoration of All the Faithful
Departed, or All Souls, reminds us of all our friends and family
who have died in Christ, and await His Second Coming and the
general resurrection of the dead. Throughout the month of
November we are encouraged by the Church to visit cemeteries
and to pray for those who have died, asking God to purify them of
the effects of their sins so that they can enter into the joys of
Heaven.

the Parish Mission that will take place from Sunday
November 23-26. The mission team that consists of Sr.
Reyna Resendiz, MSPS and lay married couples from

speak on marriage and family. I will be visiting Spanishspeaking families that have drifted away from the
practice of the faith in anticipation of the mission, so
please keep me in your prayers as well.
My First Arkalalah: I had a great time at Arkalalah. If I
had to describe it, it was like the State Fair landed in the
middle of Ark City, but without the animals! I really
enjoyed running the 2 mile race, but my pride was hurt
that some middle school kids from the parish beat me. I
was really impressed with the Sacred Heart School
float. Thank you to all who worked so hard on it! In my
book, you're all number one!
Mandatory Parents Meeting: For parents who have
children enrolled in the PSR program to receive their
First Holy Communion, the next meeting with Fr. Reilley
