Arts & Environment Help Wanted A Catholic Men’s Group for a New Spiritual Direction 1% of Catholics Can Change the Direction of the World! Have you noticed how our Art & Environment volunteer has been designing and setting up decorations and working with our florist to create an environment to complement the liturgical “seasons” of the year: Advent, Ordinary Time, Christmas, Lent, the Triduum, Easter, and Pentecost, and visually represent the weekly Gospel message? We could use the help of a parishioner who has good liturgical knowledge, is creative with art, and has an appreciation for what makes an effective liturgically appropriate display. The displays are set up in the front Church vestibule on Saturday afternoon before 4:30 PM Mass and taken down before Sunday 5 PM Mass. There are also displays for the liturgical season that will be set up at other times when it is most convenient, before the start of a new liturgical season. If you are interested in this volunteer effort, please call the Rectory at 732-4496364 ext. 100 or email bulletin@stmarkseagirt.com. We are a group of about 22 men who meet once a week on Wednesday from 6:30 AM to 7:20 AM ending on time for the 7:30 AM Mass. Our focus is on spiritual reading and sharing. Free books and free coffee! As it gets colder and darker outside, why not start doing something for yourself that is enlightening and inspiring? This is not a fundraising group. Open to all Catholic men. Interested? Just join us! For details, email Jim Sheridan at sheridan62j@gmail.com or contact Stan Ciemniecki, Thomas Albin or Rich Sudowsky. #613 10/26/2014 Pg. 7 St. Mark’s Congratulates Mary Reilly Fr.
