Christmas 2014
Dear Brothers and Sisters in Christ,
Each year we look forward to the
celebraƟon of Christmas with hope and joy.
For the children it is filled especially with
holiday excitement. But as the years pass
and maturity sets in, the Christmas Season
fills us with a hope beyond the good giŌs,
the party planning, the baking and
shopping. We come to a deeper place of
hope for all that God desires for us. And He
desires that we be happy with Him in this
world and forever in heaven. That is why
the Second Person of the Blessed Trinity,
Truly God, was conceived in the womb of
the Blessed Virgin Mary and was born into
our world in the town of Bethlehem and
given the name Jesus. God came into our
world to save us, to ransom us from our
sins and to show His love for each of us and
for every person on the planet.
This Christmas Season let us desire God
above all else. May it bring you many
blessings and a deeper awareness of God’s
love for us.
In His love and mercy,
INTERESTED IN BECOMING A CATHOLIC?
Come and see what is involved in becoming Catholic.
Every Wednesday evening at 7 PM in Meeting Room 7
we meet to explore what being a follower of Jesus
Christ in the Roman Catholic Tradition is all about.
This is an open forum to ask your questions and find
out more- whether you are unbaptized, baptized in
another faith tradition or a Catholic wishing to
complete the sacraments. You may also come to the
“GOT QUESTIONS” table in the Church Courtyard
(weather permitting) every Sunday after the morning
Masses and talk to Cathy or Steve. If you need more
information, call Elsa Lusk at the Parish Office 8423000 x12 or e-mail your questions at rcia@svdphb.org.

Time & Talent
In our daily lives we manage our family and work
responsibilities. But to become occupied with these important matters
to the exclusion of the need of others outside our home or work is a
mistake we could carry into eternity.

LA GENTE OCUPADA!”
Navidad 2014
Llegamos a
Empieza Enero: 8, 15, 22, 29, y Febrero 5

Bathrooms: Children must be with an Adult
If needed, it is best to stop by the restroom before Mass.
But if your child needs to use the restroom during Mass,
he/she MUST be accompanied by a parent. No one else
can be responsible for your child’s safety – especially in
the unsupervised restrooms. Children must also be
supervised in the Courtyard. Do not allow your child to
leave the church building alone. Even a drink of water can
usually wait until after Mass.
