The Gift of Education!
Thank you for partnering with us to ensure your child's
academic success. Every year, school absences spike in the
weeks before and after winter break as families squeeze a
few more days of vacation into the holiday season. Let’s
break that cycle. Make sure your child is in school every day,
because the best gift you can give your child is a good
education.

members dressed in their McNeal shirts with signatures and
good wishes written around the border. A Football Booster

Meetings
First Meeting:
Tuesday, October 7 at
7:30pm at:
Pink Explosion Studio
27328 Robinson Rd.
Suite 214
Conroe, TX 77385
After serving ten years as an outstanding Trainer of Oak
Ridge High School athletes, Ms. Julie LeMaster “switched
gears” and started to bring her scholastic skills to the U.S.
History classroom setting last year. As a Social Studies
Department, we are thrilled to have Ms. Julie LeMaster as an
integral team member as she is “kind to students and
positive to ALL.”
Ms. Julie LeMaster's most favorite part of the school day is
“being able to teach my students something that they did not
know and any time that I can see my students smile.” Ms.
LeMaster continues to encourage, motivate and lead her
Juniors in the study of United States History as she prepares
them all to “knock the U.S. History STAAR Exam out of the
ballpark” in May 2015.
A graduate of Tomball High School (GO Red, White and Blue
Cougars!), Ms. Julie LeMaster loves to karaoke. In fact she
met her husband at a karaoke place where he was working
and she was singing. Nice!
Ms. LeMaster's most prized inspirational quote comes from
Harry Potter and it reads - “Working hard is important, but
there is something that matters more: Believing in yourself.”

ORHS - 9th Grade Campus Winner … Ms. Celeste Aguirre
Ms. Celeste Aguirre not only leads our Spanish team, but is
an example to all about doing “what is right for kids.” She
constantly strives to keep her classes fun and engages her
students in the learning process each and every day. To [Ms.
Aguirre] “ALL means ALL” and it is evident every time you
walk into her room.
This graduate from Caney Creek High School (GO Red, Black
and Gold Panthers and C.I.S.D.) is in her second year of
teaching Spanish I and II at Oak Ridge High School. Ms.
Celeste Aguirre truly enjoys the time just after 1st or 2nd
period because she has taught a little for the day and can
begin to gauge where her students are academically. She can
then figure out how to approach the rest of her teaching day
– TURN UP or TONE DOWN the energy. Ms. Aguirre does
admit that “sometimes she can get a little too loud and
energetic!”
“After Prom Party”

Senior Exams:
Ms. Celeste Aguirre loves the Theater, all Musicals and
anything by Rodgers and Hammerstein. She is most inspired
by the poster on her wall that says: “El respeto no es un
regalo tu tienes que ganartelo” or “Respect is not a gift it is
something that you earn.”

You are appreciated and loved for epitomizing Ms. Gladys
Baggett's caring nature!

Beware! Not Raising Funds for ORHS!
In the past several weeks parents and business owners in our

baseball team or any other school organization. None of the
money from ads purchased from this company comes to Oak

To know if a company is raising funds on behalf of our school
or any ORHS student group, you can call the school at 832592-5462 to verify the representations made by the company

attendance requirement for the semester preceding the date
of application. The student can request this form at their
Assistant Principal’s office. Requests are typically processed
within 24-48 hours. Students should remember that

as holidays and should plan accordingly.
