This CTB was made here at ORHS in the Fashion Design classes. It was later flown to the International Space Station and used by astronauts then returned to earth and its place of origin. The assignment: Crew Quarters Organizer. The organizer was designed in part and 100% sewn here at ORHS. Two summer programs and one school year is what it took to complete a product that was ready for astronauts to use in space. It was used and critiqued by Astronaut Reid Wiseman in November 2014 during an actual space mission. The link below will lead you to a video of the astronauts review and suggestions. The two astronauts in the video are the first to use the CQ Organizer, but not the last, as they will be used by many that follow. NASA has requested two more to be made so more astronauts can benefit from the products made here at ORHS.
