The architect will prepare a scratch
plan of the New Hall for our consideration. The Wardens will keep
you updated of the progress.
Thanks for your support.
A second Worship Service in
English catering for youth and
young families is to be launched in
February using the Brick Hall.
Items needed for the new congregation including a data projector,
sound system, musical instruments,
chairs, song books, prayer books
etc. Talk to a Warden if you would
like to contribute in the purchasing
of the above mentioned items.
Please pray for God’s guidance as
we are looking for gifted young
people to help in the setting up and
leading of the services.
Consider giving a gift to St
Mark’s Church in your will. Your
children & others share in your
hope. Thank you.
We collect used Postage Stamps
for Anglican Board of Mission as
a fund raising project. Each year a
couple of thousands dollars are
raised through this campaign.
Please see Bill Palmer for more
info.
We have successfully applied for a
grant of $15,000 for the installation
of Air-Conditioning units for the
church. However the actual cost is
about $20,000. Parishioners are
welcome to contribute toward this
project which is to be done by
April.
A “Happy Corner” is allocated in
the church for families with young
kids. If your usual seat is being occupied, please move to another
spot. Sorry for the inconvenience
caused.

11th January, 2015 Baptism of our Lord
Jesus interpreted the events of his baptism
as a unique call to ministry. It was a very
personal experience. But Mark lets us into
this secret from the beginning as we walk
with Jesus to the crucifixion.
Pray that we may see our own baptism
as commissioning for ministry in
the name of Christ.
Pray for the Anglican Church of Australia, giving thanks for all that is
done in the twenty-three dioceses
of our Church to further God’s mission in the world.

Toward
a “missional church”
Recite Luke 10:2
and say a mission prayer at 10.02pm
The Mission: Our Gracious
God, we pray that you will
help us to proclaim our Saviour, the Lord Jesus Christ,
so that everyone around us
will hear his call to repent,
trust and serve Christ in
love, and be established in
the fellowship of his disciples
while we await his return.
May we continue to pray, to
depend on your Holy Spirit,
and to glorify you. Amen.
