Please retain this page for future reference 1st Newton (Rosemount) Scout Group Beavers ages 6-8 Friday 6-7 Scouts ages 10-14 Monday 7.30-9.30 Cubs ages 8-10 Friday 7.15-8.30 Explorers ages 14-18 Thursday 7.30-9.30 1st Newton (Rosemount) Scout Group is based at Rosemount Church, Flowery Field, Newton, Hyde. Our members come from as far afield as Bredbury, Haughton Green, Stalybridge and Oldham. Scouting is for anyone, youth members are aged from 6 to 18, adults can be any age. Scouting provides many fun, challenging and exciting activities - all the pictures in this leaflet are from recent activities 1st Newton members have taken part in. Each year we take part in numerous camps and activities, culminating in our week long summer camp. Weekly meeting are often held at Rosemount, we will often go out so please check the programme at 1stnewton.org.uk if you want to visit us! 1st Newton (Rosemount) Scout Group Beavers ages 6-8 Friday 6-7 Scouts ages 10-14 Monday 7.30-9.30 Cubs ages 8-10 Friday 7.15-8.30 Explorers ages 14-18 Thursday 7.30-9.30 We do ................abseiling, amateur radio, archery, camping, canoeing, climbing, cooking, crafts, first aid, hiking, inflatables, journalism, laser clay pigeon shooting, line dancing, pioneering, quad bikes, quasar, rifles, sailing, skiing, survival skills, sports, swimming, ten-pin bowling, water walkers and windsurfing.......... Introduction Uniform Scouting is a uniformed organisation, as such we use the official Scout uniform. These can be purchased from us, see overleaf. What next?
