This program, a partnership between Interfaith CarePartners and BCUMC, is designed to give caregivers some much needed time away. Houston Northwest Community Center will be sponsoring a Community Food Fair through the HNwCC food pantry located at the back of the church parking lot. We will have a large refrigerated truck delivered by the Houston Food Bank filled with produce and other refrigerated items on the third Saturday of every month. The three summer dates are June 20, July 18 and August 15. People in our community in need of assistance will be able to receive this food from 9:0011:00am. If you would like to volunteer to help in registration, unloading the truck and distributing the food, we could use your help. We will need our volunteers to arrive by 8:15am. MOPS is a group of women with children 5 years old and younger, who share a love for their families and enjoy fellowship with other moms going through the same (although very brief) journey in life. MOPS meets the second and fourth Mondays of every month (during the school year), 9:30-11:30am, in the Fellowship Hall, with a great MOPPETS program in the Family Life Center KidZone Nursery.
