IPCITI 2015 11th International Postgraduate Conference in Translation and Interpreting University of Edinburgh, 28-30 October 2015 Call for Papers The IPCITI Conference is the result of a long-term collaboration between Dublin City University, Heriot-Watt University, the University of Edinburgh and the University of Manchester. IPCITI is designed to provide new researchers from all areas of translation and interpreting studies with the opportunity to share their research with peers in a supportive and intellectually stimulating environment. Following the successful 10th anniversary conference at the University of Manchester, the University of Edinburgh is delighted to host the IPCITI 2015. Invited Conference Speakers Keynote Speakers: Dr Sabine Braun (University of Surrey) Dr Pablo Romero-Fresco (University of Roehampton) Workshop Leaders: Dr Charlotte Bosseaux (University of Edinburgh) Dr Sharon Deane-Cox (University of Edinburgh) Guidelines for submitting abstracts IPCITI 2015 welcomes abstracts on all topics within translation and interpreting studies. Papers are allotted 20 minute slots to be followed by 10 minutes of discussion (total 30 minutes for each presenter). Abstracts should be submitted in English and be no longer than 300 words. The submission should also include the presenter’s institutional affiliation, academic status and research interests. Abstracts should include: Title for the paper to be presented 3-4 keywords The research area and focus An indication of the theoretical framework and/or research methodology employed A brief summary of outcomes or pursued outcomes A short key bibliography Please note that the title, keywords and bibliographical references are not included in the word count.
