CAROL
POULTER
Conservative Candidate for
Hacheston Ward
About Me
During the past five years the best time of my week has been
when I arrive back in Suffolk on a Thursday evening. After a busy
working week in London I like nothing better than returning to
the lovely Suffolk countryside and my home near Hacheston.
At present, I work in Parliament and Suffolk as office manager to
our local MP Dr Dan Poulter having previously worked for three
other MP’s. An important part of my role is to assist him to look
after the interests of people that come to him for advice and
support and to become involved in the important issues in our
area and understand the views and opinions of residents.
Carol believes strongly that our
lovely Suffolk countryside should
not be blighted by inappropriate
developments that are not in
keeping with the character of our
area. She has a long standing
track record of helping residents
and supported the campaign to
oppose the inappropriate
proposal for a large solar park
development in Hacheston.
For the past eight years I have served as a Councillor in Surrey
and hope that the experience I have gained will benefit residents
of our area if I am elected on May 7th. I am now living and
working full time in Suffolk and, if elected, look forward to
devoting my time and energy to serving the interests of the
residents of Hacheston area.
Suffolk Coastal District Council
has an excellent record of
bringing high speed broadband to
our homes and businesses. Carol
will work with our local MPs,
Suffolk County Council and
Suffolk Coastal Councillor
colleagues to ensure that high
speed broadband and better
mobile phone reception continues
to be delivered across our area.

In the recent survey carried out by
our MP an overwhelming number
of local residents were in favour
of a 4 villages bypass. If elected,
Carol will work hard to support
residents in achieving this
objective and do her best to
obtain a fair deal for our
communities.
