local communities to provide the houses we need, where they
are needed.

About Tony
I have lived in Suffolk all my life. I am lucky to live here and I
want to ensure that my Grandchildren can enjoy Suffolk just
as much as I have done. My wife and I moved to our current
home in Debach in 2000 and over that time I have made many
friends and have been actively involved in a wide range of
local activities. For the last four years I have served as District
Councillor for the Grundisburgh Ward . Although I have sat on
several committees, my main involvement has been in the
planning field and I have been appointed as Vice Chairman of
the Development Management Committee.
I believe passionately in local democracy and, in addition to
my District work, I play an active role at the parish level. I am
Clerk to Debach Parish, a Councillor with Clopton Parish,
Branch Chairman of the Suffolk Association of Local Councils
(SALC) and an active member of CPRE.
Local initiatives can achieve near
miracles, but they do need
support to get going.
This means money, but also time
and enthusiasm.

Sport benefits all and it relies on
the dedication of local people to
keep the facilities running refereeing, team management,
players and, of course, fund
raising.
