Connection Church Ministry Team Leads Connection Church Staff

What To Expect
We would like to welcome you to Connection Church. As a church family of
believers, it is our desire to touch the world with the Love of God through all aspects,
programs, and ministries here within the church. Together we can do more than we
can apart! This is God's church and we are His people -- we are glad that you have
chosen to worship with us today.
Our weekend gathering is designed to encourage you in the faith through
fellowship, worship, and teaching. Our service is a little longer than some, but we feel
it is important to provide enough time during each segment, so that you can connect
with others and God in a powerful way.
During the first portion of the service there is a time of Family Connection
where we connect as a family of believers. During this time, feel free to grab some
coffee or tea. Following the Welcome and time of Giving, we enter into our second
segment of our service, which is music Worship. This is a time for us to bring our
praise in song, prayer, quiet, or contemplation. If God asks you to cry out -- then cry
out to Him. If He asks you to kneel at the altar in worship, then kneel. If He asks you
to grab someone to pray with you at the front, then move. If He asks you to sit quietly
and listen in worship, then sit. This time is for you to present your "Offering of Praise"
in thankfulness to the King. The last portion of our service is our time of teaching and
learning. Our desire is that you receive knowledge through the Word and in doing so,
see God in a new way in your life.
As you worship, your children will be cared for, taught about who God Is,
participate in activities and crafts, and learn through video the stories from God's
Word. May your time with us today be Blessed as you dedicate this time to God in
Worship!

Travelers Outreach
FEB 15th - MAR 1st, - Once again we will be working with Homeward Bound and
reaching out to homeless men in our community. February 15th – March 1st we
will be hosting about 20 men in our gym as part of the community “overflow”
program to help take pressure off Homeward Bound. The men arrive each
evening at approximately 6:30 PM and spend the night. During that time, we
provide a warm place to sleep, shower, movies, table games, evening snacks,
breakfast, and sandwiches “to-go” when they leave around 7:00 AM each
morning. If you would like to help with this ministry, please sign up in the foyer
and you will be contacted. Ladies can help with evening prep, evening free time,
and morning breakfast. Men participate for the entire time and 2 men stay
through the night on sight. We will set up a rotation schedule so that everyone
who wants to help can participate and no one is over-worked. It costs the church
roughly $2,000 for 14 days. We provide ministry for them and go beyond the
“normal” church overflow experience. If you would like to help cover these costs,
just designate your offering as “Travelers” in the memo section of your check or
on the giving envelope. We’re looking forward to another great year of outreach!

single parents with children living at home. We would like to provide gifts and gift
cards for the parents, as well as the children. If you know of a single parent, with
children, who is a regular attendee of our church, please call the church office at
523-1857 and give us their names so they can be included. Our Connection Tree
will have “ornaments” with the gender and a “wish list”, sizes, etc. You can
choose an “ornament” off the tree, purchase the item, gift wrap and place the tag
on the package and return it to the Connection Tree. Bring gifts or gift cards by
Christmas Eve service and place them under the tree. Or you can drop them by
the church office on Tues. or Thurs. 9-4. A minimum of $15 please for the gifts
and gift cards. Outreach lead is Bonnita Wallace, call if you have questions,
