ELK GROVE NEW FLOW EQUALIZATION PROJECT (ONLINE ONLY) Div 1, 3, 5, 7-10, 22-23, 26-27 & 31-33. Project consists of increasing the storage
capacity of the existing Emergency Storage Basins (ESBs) at the Sacramento
Regional Wastewater Treatment Plant (SRWTP) by approximately 110 million
gallons. This will involve deepening of ESB-B and ESB-C by approximately 8 feet.
Additionally, operational flexibility will be increased through the addition of berms in
ESB-C to divide this basin into three sub-basins. Piping and gates shall be installed
to allow flow into each of the basins and drainage from each of the basins. Basin
floors will be lined with roller compacted concrete (RCC) and basin berms will be
lined with shotcrete. An underdrain system and associated pumping station will be
constructed to relieve hydrostatic pressure from the groundwater beneath the
basins. A permanent washdown system consisting of both manual and motorized
water monitors (cannons) shall be installed to clean the basins. Mass preexcavation for the Biological Nutrient Removal (BNR) project will also be performed
as part of this Project.

HEALTH CARE FACILITY IMPROVEMENT
Div 1-12, 21-23, 26-28 & 31-33. The Project at Mule Creek State Prison (MCSP) is 2
PROGRAM MULE CREEK STATE PRISON (MCSP) part of the Health Care Facility Improvement Program (HCFIP). The purpose of this
Project at MCSP is to remedy deficiencies in its existing health care components.
The Project consists of five sub-projects, which includes one to three sub-phases
within the sub-project. The Scope of Work includes, but is not limited to, demolition,
renovation, building pad preparation, accessible paths of-travel and infrastructure
upgrades. The Projects are located within the existing secure perimeter. The new
buildings and additions will be slab-on-grade with exterior fully grouted structural
concrete masonry unit walls, metal framed interior walls, and a single-ply type, fully
adhered over rigid insulation roof assembly. Utility relocation will be necessary for
the construction of the new buildings, including communication/signal, electrical,
storm drain, water, and sewer lines. All existing buildings are sprinklered with the
exception of: SUB-PROJECT #2 (Primary Care Clinic Renovation). Automatic
sprinkler systems will be installed for I-3 and B occupancy in new buildings in
accordance with the requirements of the California Building Code. Paving and
resurfacing work includes, but is not limited to, the following: new sidewalks and
asphalt at accessible parking stalls, new concrete and asphalt at the new buildings,
all sidewalks, and path-of-travel. The sub-projects are as follows:
SUB-PROJECT #1 - Central Health Services Renovation. Approximately 5,000 sq.
ft. of the existing Central Health Services Building will be renovated to provide
appropriately sized Triage and Treatment Area (TTA), specialty care and clinical
spaces. The renovated TT A will include two standard bays, one urgent bay, an
observation room, a mental health treatment room, and one panorex room for Xrays. The Project will also include a physical therapy room, clean and soiled utility
rooms and additional inmate-patient holding rooms.
SUB-PROJECT #2 - Primary Care Clinic (PCC) Renovation at Yards A, B, and C;
and New Clothing Exchange Buildings. The existing Primary Care Clinics at Yards
A, B, and C will be reconfigured, renovated, and expanded into the adjacent
clothing exchange areas, and new buildings at each yard will be constructed for
clothing
exchanges. The renovated clinics will include primary care exam rooms, multi use
exam rooms, medication distribution rooms, clean and soiled utility rooms, and clinic
support space. Three new stand-alone pre-engineered buildings will be constructed
to replace the three existing clothing distribution facilities being vacated to allow the
expansion ofthe clinics. The PCC area of renovation is approximately 5,357 sq. ft.
at each Yard and the new clothing exchange buildings are approximately 1 ,200 sq.
ft. each.

This Public Works Project will be replacing the Ticket Vending Machines (TVM) in
the future. To prepare for the new TVMs, this Project will replace the
communications and electrical power cables at nearly all the stations. The
communications cables from the communication room/cabinet all the way to the
inside of the TVMs will be replaced with new fiber optic cables. In addition, this
Project will relocate or reorient some TVMs at the stations.

and appurtenances into the temporary containment area, connect to temporary
chemical feed system constructed by Owner, demolish existing hypochlorite piping
and appurtenances, demolish existing tank and pump pads, and demolish top
portion of concrete in hypochlorite containment area. Install temporary chemical
feed system to maintain hypochlorite delivery into the treatment process during
construction. Furnish and install structural repair concrete and non-skid epoxy
coating to repair and protect containment area. Reinstall tanks, pumps, and
appurtenances and furnish and install new pipes to match existing configuration
except as shown on the contract drawings. Provide all other appurtenances and
incidentals necessary to furnish a complete and operating system.

(28) domestic water wells, four (4) storage tank and booster pump stations, two (2)
water import connections, three (3) sewage collection pump stations, and four (4)

LOS GUILICOS TO HIGHWAY 12 HWY - RD
Project - Los Guilicos to Highway 12. Contractor's License required at time of
(ONLINE ONLY)
award is: A - General Engineering. A bid bond will be required. Additional
information may be obtained from the Sonoma County Regional Parks Department
at 707-565-2041.
Upgrade the existing sanitary sewer pump station on 15th Avenue, install a new
sewer force main from the pump station to East Cliff Drive, install new sewer gravity
lines using pilot tube microtunneling and trenching from the existing 14th and 16th
Avenue pump stations to the 15th Avenue pump station and abandon and demolish
these two pump stations. Work will take place within the public right of ways of
14th, 15th and 16th Avenues and Geoffroy Drive and East Cliff Drive. Work will
also take place in Black Point Lane and within 5 private property easements in the
area.
PLEASE NOTE: OPTIONAL PRE-BID MEETING AND SITE VISIT IS SCHEDULED
FOR JANUARY 5,2015 AT 9:00AM. Prospective bidders are responsible for being
aware of all site conditions. The Pre-Bid Site Visit will last approximately one (1)
hour.
The Work consists of construction of County’s Bay Area Ridge Trail Extension
