Moynalvey Kiltale Parish PENITENTIAL ACT I confess to almighty God and to you, my brothers and sisters, that I have greatly sinned in my thoughts and in my words, in what I have done and in what I have failed to do, through my fault, through my fault, through my most grievous fault; therefore I ask blessed Mary ever-Virgin, all the Angels and Saints, and you, my brothers and sisters, to pray for me to the Lord our God. I will be VISITING HOUSES in the parish this week. If you wish me to call & there’s a time that’s convenient for you please let me know. The 2015 MASS DIARY is now available. An intention for a Mass is not booked until it is written into the diary. Wedding couples are asked to check that the correct dates have been entered in the diary. Moynalvey Kiltale Parish THE MYSTERY OF FAITH We proclaim your Death, O Lord, and profess your Resurrection until you come again. This weekend we mark WORLD MISSION SUNDAY. Pope Francis has challenged us to “be missionaries of God’s love.” 40% of our Church is too young or too poor to support itself. PLEASE SUPPORT THE WORLD MISSION SUNDAY COLLECTIONS AFTER COMMUNION AT ALL MASSES THIS WEEKEND. As we approach November and the end of the Church year our focus begins to turn towards remembering and praying for the dead. We remember our Dead when we enter their names on the ALTAR LIST OF THE DEAD so that they can be prayed for at Mass to help them attain their eternal rest. List of the Dead envelopes are in your box of envelopes or will be available from both churches. Masses on First Fridays during the year and on All Souls Day are offered for the Parish List of the Dead.
