Parents, each month we give children bible verses to be memorized by the third
Sunday of the month. They receive a prize if they can recite the verse by memory.
Please practice these verses at home with your children and memorize them together:
Preschool: “"Cast all your anxiety on Him because He cares for you." [1 Peter 5:7]
K-1st: "While He was still speaking, a bright cloud covered them, and a voice from
the cloud said, ‘This is My Son, whom I love; with Him I am well pleased. Listen to
Him!’” [Matthew 17:5]
2nd-3rd: "See what great love the Father has lavished on us, that we should be called
children of God! And that is what we are! The reason the world does not know us is
that it did not know Him." [1 John 3:1]
4th-5th: “But you will receive power when the Holy Spirit comes on you; and you
will be My witnesses in Jerusalem, and in all Judea and Samaria, and to the ends of
the earth." [Acts 1:8]

Corporately Inquiring of the Lord
Then the Israelites, all the people, went up to Bethel, and there they sat weeping before the
Lord. They fasted that day until evening and presented burnt offerings and fellowship
offerings to the Lord. And the Israelites inquired of the Lord. ….They asked, “Shall we go up
again to battle with Benjamin our brother, or not?”
Judges 20: 26-28 (NIV)
1. Worship the Sovereign God who knows all things.
2. Praise the Lord, the great and awesome God, who keeps His covenant of love
with all who love Him and obey His commands. (Daniel 9:4b)
3. Confess times you have not sought the Lord together with other believers and
ask God to teach you how to listen to those who speak in His name. (Daniel 9:6)
4. Pray for those you know who do not yet know Jesus as Savior. _________,
__________, __________, Thank the Lord for His patience and His desire for
everyone to come to repentance. (2 Peter 3:9)
5. Ask God to help us pull together as a team of believers to encourage one another
to grow in Christ.
6. Lift up before the Lord each person who will come through the doors of the
Bridge church this morning and that He will increase our ability to hear.
7. Repent of times when your church has moved ahead without first inquiring of the
Lord.
8. Pray for the leaders of the Bridge Church to commit to hearing from the Lord
before moving ahead in ministry: The Pastoral staff, The MOB, GEMS, Youth Group,
Sunday school, Pier and Outreach groups.
9. Pray that the Pastors of the Bridge will grow in their intimacy with Christ and in
their desire to hear Him: Pastor Gordon, Pastor Javier, Pastor Mel, Pastor Mendel,
Pastor Ashley, and Tuan.
10. Pray that believers in Hawaii and in our nation will listen well together and
move forward only when they hear God.
11. Pray for the unity of all believers around the globe and that we would not
forget the poor and those who endure persecution for the sake of Christ Jesus.
(Hebrews 13:3)
