2nd Annual Ladies Fellowship
Please join us for a Ladies Fellowship on Saturday,
February 28, 2015 from 10:00 am until 2:00 pm in
the Fellowship Hall. Our guest speaker will be
Courtney Mills Jones Willis. The event is hosted by Robin Dobyns.
As lunch will be provided, please RSVP to the church office no later
than February 25th. We hope to see you there!
HANDS Breakfast
On Sunday morning, March 1, we will be having the
winter quarter HANDS breakfast at 8:00 am, followed
by the program from 9:00-9:30, allowing time for all to
make it to Sunday Morning Bible Study. We hope you
will make plans now to be a part of this! Also, if you
are willing to help, please contact Dan Norman. Many
HANDS make light work!!!
FBC Families are invited to bring your sleds and
travel to Beech Mountain with the Children's
Committee after worship on March 1. The
destinations are McDonald's in Banner Elk for
lunch and the sledding hill on Beech Mountain for
an afternoon of free sledding fun! Children 12 and
under can slide; parents can slide with younger
children. Hot chocolate and coffee are available in
nearby restaurants. The vans are reserved for us,
so let's fill them up!

Attention Youth!
TOBYMAC Concert, Asheville, Sunday, March 15. We will leave
church at 2:30 pm and return around 10:30 pm. You need to sign up
with $15 to Roy. If you are bringing a friend outside of our church they
will only cost $10. (so that is $25 for 2) Sign up with money. You will need
money for supper in “downtown hippy” Asheville. I know Kristel, Roy, and Robin
are going. Hope all of the Sunday night crowd of Thompsons and youth will sign
up!

Tanger Outlet Shopping Spree: On Monday, March 16, 2015, we will travel to
Mebane, NC for a day of shopping at the Tanger Outlet. (The snow date will be
