Each week we will start with supper (no charge) at 6.45 p.m. for 7.00 p.m. CONGRATULATIONS to Annabel Greatorex and Tracey Musgrove of St Andrew’s and Kathy Atkinson and George Blackman of St Michael’s who were confirmed by the Bishop of Oxford at St Mary’s Church, Langley on 12th October. Lesley West and Pat Blackman affirmed their Baptismal Faith. Sadly Mary Blackman was in hospital with a bad chest infection and couldn’t be confirmed. CHIROPODY AT WBC: We are so grateful to Nicola for her services as chiropodist at our coffee morning over the past two years. We wish her well as she moves to Holland. The next scheduled chiropody is at our coffee morning on 5th November. It is fully booked with our new chiropodist – listen out for further announcements. Pam Hillman is the contact for appointments on 482296. THE FESTIVAL OF LIGHT IS ON 2ND NOVEMBER at 6pm at St Andrew’s and is an annual service to remember the beloved departed. There is an opportunity to light a candle in their memory, give thanks for lives lived and love shared, and share comfort with others who are grieving. We specially invite those who have had a funeral with us, but everyone who wishes to come is welcome. REMEMBRANCE SERVICES 9TH NOVEMBER St Michael's services on Remembrance Sunday are: 9.30 a.m. Holy Communion 10.30 a.m. Remembrance Service with procession to the War memorial on Horton Green. St Andrew's Remembrance service commences 10.45 a.m. with procession to Village War Memorial at 11.35. Boxes for poppies are available at all three churches and shops, clubs and pubs.
