Through the sacrament of Baptism, Christ gives all of us, His disciples, a share of the responsibility of proclaiming the Gospel and thus share in His priestly work through the common priesthood of the Faithful. He calls us to offer up the world and all that is in it, including ourselves, to the Lord of all. If being a Christian was illegal, would there be enough evidence to convict you?
